Visitors
Absolutely no visitors are allowed during classes under any circumstances. Visitors are disruptive to the entire class and
interfere withthe normal flow of the dance class. This rule is for the student's benefit. Visitors are welcome to view thru
the observation window during the classes in the first week of each month (remember: dancers can see you also).

    Potty
Potty before you arrive. We are in class to dance, not to run to the potty.

    Food
There is no food, candy or gum allowed in the studio unless the student is here for more than one class in the same day. Also
water bottles and drinks are not allowed in the studio unless the student is here for more than one class in the same day.

    Belongings
All students must have a dance bag to carry their dance shoes to and from class. Wearing dance shoes outside ruins the soles
of the shoes. Please label all shoes, etc. that are brought to class. Also, label the dance bag with the student's name on the
outside of the bag so we can help the students get ready to dance and then go home. Please leave all toys, games etc. at home.
We come to class to dance, not to play.

    Glasses
All students who wear glasses must wear a sports-guard on their glasses.

    About parent late pickups
    P
arents: I must ask you to pick up your dancers on time at the end of their dance class. Late pickups are disruptive to the
other dancers and to me. In addition, I cannot baby-sit while I am teaching. Please make every effort to arrive on time for the
pickups or make arrangements for someone else to pick up your child. After 10 minutes there will be a $5.00 late charge.
Two warnings will be given first.

STUDIO POLICIES

    PLACEMENT OF STUDENTS
Students are placed or assigned to classes according to their training, ability, and lastly, age. The most
important factors are ability and training. These two factors determine exactly what the student knows. Age is least important. I do not place students in a dance class that is wrong for them, just because they are a certain age. This is detrimental to the student and the class.

    REGISTRATION/TUITION INFORMATION
Your registration fee of $30.00 per dancer, release form, and registration form, are due when you register.
(remember that all fees are non-refundable). The monthly tuition is due the first dance class of the month, after the 10th of the month a $5.00 a week late fee will automatically be added to your statement for each week until the tuition is paid. You will be issued a statement each month in a beige envelope. You are to return this with each payment and if you fail to return the envelope you will be charged $5.00 for a new envelope.

Your account will become a 'cash only' account if any check is returned from the bank, and you will be charged $25.00 return fee. Failure to keeep your account current (you owe for more than 1 month's tuition) will result in a student not being allowed to attend dance class until the account is paid up for the current month.

When you register for dance class your position is reserved for you and, whether you attend or not, tuition must be paid!!! There is no such thing as taking a month off from class, tuition is based on 9 1/2 months of dance class. If you are not returning for the upcoming dance year please notify Miss Cindy so that your space can be filled.

Once a dancer registers for dance class, their space is reserved for them regardless if they attend or not, full tuition is due.

If a dancer should decide to withdraw from any class you are financially responsible for the tuition until a written letter of withdrawal is received at the studio. Absolutely no phone withdrawals are accepted.  When the letter is received at the
studio your next month's tuition will be due as a penalty for withdrawing before the end of the dance year.

If a dancer should withdraw after February 27th you are responsible for the balance of the dance year because we are in the middle of Dance Revue routines, costumes are usually already fitted, and Miss Cindy has re-choreograph the dance routine when the child withdraws.

If a dancer attends 1 class in the month you are responsible for that month's tuition. It is according to where the day falls
on the calendar because some dancers get 5 classes some months and others get 3 or 4. The tuition is based on equal payments.

    Extra private classes
If a dancer misses their class several times and cannot attend the make-up class that Miss Cindy offers then a private class can be arranged for a set fee of $ 15 for each class. Miss Cindy offers a make-up  class if the dancer misses their regular dance class, however if you, the dancer, fails to attend the make-up class it is up to you to talk to Miss Cindy about extra help in a private class. The cost of the extra class is paid at each class to offset Miss Cindy's extra time and studio expense.

Tuition (please call the studio for family discount prices)
    T
uition is charged monthly. Your first month's tuition is due when you register for class. After that, your tuition is due the first dance class of the month. You will receive a statement the 15th of the month for the next month. You must return the statement, billing envelope, and payment by the first dance class of the next month. Failure to return the statement and the billing envelope twice will result in a $5.00 replacement fee. Your account will become, "Cash Only," if any check is returned. In addition, you will be charged
a returned check charge according to what the bank charges my account. A late fee of $5.00 per week will be charged if you do not pay your account by the 10th of the month.

    Classes - Schedules
Miss Cindy likes to talk personally to each prospective new dancer's parents to ensure that they are placed into
the appropriate class or the class that best fits the student's dance ability. S
tudents are given classes for 9 1/2 months
which represents 36 - 38 dance classes. Dress rehearsals and dance revues count as classes, because they are
learning experiences. There may be more classes in a nine-month period, but you will not be charged extra. All dance
classes that are missed count against perfect attendance. Refunds are not given for missed classes or if a student
withdraws prior to the end of the month.

If a class must be cancelled by Miss Cindy, a make-up class will be offered. Failure to attend the make-up class, will not
result in another make-up class, a refund or a credit.

    Attendance
    P
lease be prompt to dance class. Remember, if you are late, you lose valuable class time and interrupt the entire class. Please
do not miss a dance class unless it is totally unavoidable. Good attendance is a must to progress to a higher level of dance.
As students come to class they are to conduct themselves in a quiet and orderly manner. They are to get ready for their class
    and sit quietly.

    Inclement weather
Canceling classes will depend on ice, snow, electricity, and elements we cannot control. A studio representative will contact you
    personally
by 2:00 p.m. on your dance day to inform you if classes are cancelled. (Check you voice mail!). Many times the roads
will clear by late afternoon or early evening, in time for dance classes. Re-scheduling is hard on everyone's busy schedule,
so we always try to hold classes on the normal day and time.
