"Miss Cindy", Cynthia Jean Brown-Bell,
is a Duluth native and is married to Mike Bell (also from Duluth), owner of
Bell Home Improvements. They attend Phoenix Community Church of Atlanta.
I am the owner of Miss Cindy's Dance Studio located in Parc Walk
at River Green, Suite C on Peachtree Industrial Blvd in Duluth.
Community Service is very important to me. I have co-chaired the Duluth
Fall Festival Parade and still work at the festival. I was the choreographer
for the Miss Norcross High School Beauty Pageant for 3 years,
I am the choreographer for the Gwinnett Board Of Realtors (Gwinnett
Players). This group rehearses at Miss Cindy's Dance Studio for their annual
Fall musical benefitting local charities. I am a Duluth Merchants Association
member and Corporate Sponsor of the Duluth Fall Festival.
I have taken classes with some of the top choreographers and dancers in the world:
Frank Hatchett, Steven Boyd, Al Gilbert, Daryl Retter, Janice Barringer and Tommy
Alexander just to name a few. I continually upgrade my teaching skills and ability
by attending at least 4 dance seminars and workshops each year
to ensure that the children get the best quality dance education available to them,
I go to Clarkston each Summer to teach sports, dance at the refugee camp.
I have been soloist performer for the Jr. Miss Gwinnett Pageant, performed for the Mayor
of Atlanta, attended and performed at the Drill Team Camp at Emory University,
attended Professional Dance Teacher Training School in New York and Miami,
was the evil witch in Snow White Ballet performed by the School of Performing Arts,
and performed at the Duluth Fall Festival.

Elizabeth Sheridan: Hip-hop
Teacher
Elizabeth
Sheridan grew up dancing at the Cathedral Dance Conservatory, starting
at the
age of three, where she studied ballet, modern and jazz. While at the
Cathedral Dance Conservatory, she
was a part of Leap of Faith dance company and
then on to be a Cathedral Dancer
performing ballet/pointe, partnering, lyrical, jazz,
and hip-hop. Elizabeth began
teaching dance at the age of 14. She
graduated
from DeKalb School of the Arts in 2002. While
in high school, she was a part
of DRC, a touring dance company. She received her BFA in Dance Performance
with a minor in Math in 2006 from Brenau University in Gainesville Georgia.
While studying at Brenau,
she danced with the Brenau Dance Ensemble
under the leadership of Jolie Long
and the Gainesville Ballet Company under
the leadership of Diane Callahan. She received a full scholarship to attend
the
American College Dance Festival, a summer dance program at Duke University.
She has also had the opportunity to dance at many venues such as
Disney Word,
the Super Bowl Pregame Show, Festival of Trees, Duluth Festivals,
TBN, Cathedral
of the Holy Spirit, and other various theatres, malls, nursing
homes, churches…

Dana Eggers: Ballroom Dancing Teacher
Dana
Eggers grew up in a family that loved to dance.
At family reunions, dancing was the main source of entertainment. As a child, she took tap, jazz and ballet
with the Doris Ray Dance Studio in Decatur, GA. , After several years of training under coaches Ray Gardner & Robert Mitchell Dana began dancing ballroom professionally at the age of 26. She taught ballroom dancing to
students dancing with partners and participated in many competitions
in the
southeastern US. Dana also taught
Ballroom Dancing at the Gwinnett County Adult Enrichment Program and
Clayton State College & University. She has been teaching Basic Ballroom Dance
at Miss Cindy’s for the past year. Many couples have learned Ballroom Dancing in private classes in preparation
for their wedding.
