The impulse of the body to move rhythmically is basic to our society. We strive to channel this impulse into a progressive and worthwhile activity. In classical ballet, tap and jazz, I direct my students to a better understanding of physical well being through the art of dance. Through rhythmic expression, the dancer feels great self-satisfaction at his or her accomplishments while acquiring overall wellness due to physical strengthening and conditioning.

Dance, more than any other art form, deals with the mind and body. Dance quickens reflexes, increases mental alertness, and enables us to perform better in other areas of our lives. Dance not only teaches an art form, it teaches respect, discipline and self esteem as well as posture and etiquette.

Please be assured that every dance student at Miss Cindy's Dance Studio receives the utmost personal and individual attention during the dance year.
